The Chairman led the Committee in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Vice-chairman gave the invocation.

The Chairman gave a report of his campaign trip. He delivered speeches on the United Nations in Michigan and Ohio. He met with candidate Jerry Martin in Ohio, and attended the Traficant Rally in Pennsylvania.

The Secretary gave his report. He moved the adoption of the previously circulated minutes of the October 21, 2002 Operating Committee meeting. His motion was seconded by Mr. Lovell and adopted by unanimous vote.

The Secretary reported having shipped out 1200 of the party's new bumper stickers. Finally, he discussed the party building web site report for the last 30 day period, reviewing activity levels for various state parties and organizing committees.

The Operating Committee discussed the need for a National Committee meeting during the middle of November. Because of the elections being held next Tuesday, Mr. Lovell moved to postpone the regular weekly Operating Committee meeting to Thursday, November 7 at 9 p.m. His motion was seconded by Mr. Hill and adopted by unanimous vote.

Mr. Lovell moved that a meeting of the National Committee be called for November 19 at 9 p.m. EST. His motion was seconded by Mrs. McHugh and approved by unanimous vote.
