BE IT REMEMBERED that the Operating Committee of the America First Party met on Monday, January 8, 2007 at 9:00 p.m. East Coast Time, pursuant to the previous resolution of the Operating Committee.

The Chairman led the members in the Pledge of Allegiance. Mr. Hey delivered the invocation.

The Secretary called the roll of Operating Committee members:

A quorum being present, the meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 9:17 p.m.

Mr. Schweingrouber moved the adoption of the standard Agenda. Mr. Browning seconded the motion. The Agenda was adopted by unanimous consent.

The Chairman delivered his report. Several press releases have gone out. The release on cloning garnered a radio interview on a Michigan station. The Chairman thanked Mr. Eller for his work getting the AFP mugs in stock.

The Secretary reminded the members that he had previously circulated draft minutes for the December 18, 2006 meeting of the Operating Committee. Mr. Hey moved the adoption of the minutes as published. His motion was seconded by Mr. Browning. The minutes were adopted by unanimous vote.

The AFP mugs have been received and all but three have been shipped out. There has been some problem with breakage in the mailing of the mugs, and new packing materials have been obtained to solve the problem.

All of the beginning of the month processes, letters, reminders, etc., have been prepared and mailed out. The FAFP packets are up to date.

The Treasurer reported that the party's bank balance is $5,671.59. There are no outstanding invoices due at this time. A discussion was held regarding the future format of the newsletter.

The end-of-year report to the FEC has been prepared and filed and may be viewed on the FEC's public web site. In addition, a final and complete treasury report was delivered to the party leaders earlier this month.

Mr. Eller delivered the Finance Committee report. He discussed the success of the AFP mugs, and the possibility of getting some party buttons made.

Mr. Browning delivered the Party Building Committee report. He is working with organizers in various states and returning calls from interested prospects. A discussion was held regarding adherence to the party platform relative to new prospects.

Mr. Schweingrouber delivered a Public Relations Committee report. The committee will meet next Saturday to continue working on the next newsletter.

Mr. Hey reported that the Rules Committee is setting up interviews with two new National Committee designees, which should take place very shortly.

A time of general discussion was held.

There being no further business, on motion made by Mr. Eller, seconded by Mr. Schweingrouber, and adopted by unanimous consent, the meeting was adjourned.

Respectfully submitted,
